This policy explains what personal data SoCare Trust collects through socare-trust.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
SOCARE TRUST, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15969647), is the data controller for the personal data described here. Our registered office is The Leadenhall Building, 122 Leadenhall Street, Level 30, London EC3V 4AB. We handle your data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Questions about this policy or your data go to info@socare-trust.com.
What you send us. When you email us, we keep your name, email address and anything you choose to include. If you are an investor, lender, partner or adviser, we also keep your business contact details and our correspondence with you.
What your browser sends us. Like any website, our server logs technical details when you visit: your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you view and the time of your visit. If you accept analytics cookies, we also use Google Analytics 4 to see how visitors use the site in aggregate: pages viewed, time on site, how you found us, and your approximate location and device. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses, and we do not use it to identify you.
What we do not collect. We do not ask for sensitive information, we do not sell data, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
UK GDPR requires a lawful basis for each use of your data. Here is ours.
| What we do | Data used | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Reply to your enquiry | Email and contact details | Our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us |
| Manage relationships with investors, lenders and partners | Business contact details and correspondence | Our legitimate interest in running the business, or steps towards a contract |
| Keep the site secure and running | Technical and log data | Our legitimate interest in a safe, working site |
| Understand which pages are useful and improve the site | Analytics data | Your consent, given through our cookie banner |
| Keep financial and company records | Contact and transaction details | Legal obligation (company, tax and accounting law) |
We only send you updates about SoCare if you have asked us to.
We use cookies to keep the site working and, with your consent, to measure how it performs using Google Analytics 4. Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them in our cookie banner.
Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie we use, what it does and how long it lasts. You can change your choices at any time through the Manage consent link at the bottom of any page.
The fonts on this site are served from our own web server, so loading a page does not share your IP address with a font provider.
We never sell or rent your data. We share it only with the service providers who help us run the business, each bound by a data processing agreement:
We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
Transfers outside the UK. Some providers, such as Google and Microsoft, may process data in the European Economic Area or the United States. Where that happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum to keep your data protected to UK standards.
We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access limited to the people who need it, and secure, reputable providers. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps and will tell you and the regulator promptly if a breach affects you.
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
Email info@socare-trust.com to make a request. We will reply within one month and will not charge you.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
